Blogmas day 6: My Favourite Christmas Songs

What is Christmas without the Christmas music? On the 1st December we start blasting that Christmas music, we start decorating our trees, and we start shopping.  Honestly, we start playing Christmas music  in November, well I do. I have heard some people play it as early as October maybe even before that.   On my day four of blogmas, I want to share with you my 6 favourite Christmas songs that just make me feel all Christmassy. In no particular order, lets start:

Mariah Carey 'All I want for Christmas'

This is the best christmas song in my opinion. It always gets everyone on the dance floor at parties.

Brenda Lee 'Rocking around the christmas tree'

This song always reminds me of my favourite christmas film Home Alone. It is another one thats gets people dancing at parties.

Michael Buble 'Santa Claus is coming to town'

This is my children's favourite song. My youngest is singing it in his school christmas play this year so it is all I have heard lately. I don't mind, it's a great song.

Destiny's child 'Rudolph the red nose reindeer'

I have loved this version of a classic song since I was a young teenager. I used to be obsessed with destiny's child. I recently introduced this song to my children and they love it too!

The Jackson 5 'I saw mummy kissing Santa Clause'

I remember hearing this song on the radio when I was a young kid and being really confused as to why his mum his kissing Santa. I obviously now get the lyrics and its still one of my favourites.

Frank Sinatra 'White christmas'

You just cannot beat this old classic. It's such a beautiful song.

Well that is my list of my favourite christmassy songs. It was very difficult to narrow them down to six favourites as i love all christmas songs. I hope you enjoyed this post.

Gem x
