My Sunday photo // Image of the week

My Sunday photo for this week was taken at Whitsand bay in Cornwall on our first trip to the beach in 2015. As soon as we arrived the children ran straight to the sea, leaving me behind. They really wanted to go for a swim but it was far too cold today.

A very atmospheric photo. It's funny the way kids will always head straight for the water, no matter how cold it is - mine do exactly the same!

  7. I'm loving all these exterior photos. It seems that as the weather improves everyone is making a greater effort to go outside with their kids. Looks like a lovely spot.

  8. I love the beach in winter, there's something really special about it and I like that the beach is usually deserted when the dark clouds are out. Great photo xx

  18. I had my first visit to the beach today too Gemma,
My dog went crazy running around like a pup but she's 11 years old. She probably won't be able to move tomorrow after all that exercise. But what can you do when you're so happy to be outside enjoying nature?
    Love your photo :D

We were at the beach this week, but ours is all shingle and scrappy bits of sand.
