Christmas 2014 Tag!

Yes, It's early but when the shops started releasing all their christmas stock, you can't help but get super excited. I saw this tag on Milk Bubble Tea and thought I would give the questions a go.

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
I always seem to watch the same movies every year. Elf has to be my children's favourite. They sit and giggle through the whole film. I love the classics like home alone and National lampoon's christmas.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
We open one small present before bedtime on Christmas Eve which is normally brand new PJs. It has always been a tradition in my family. The rest are saved for Christmas day as I love to do the whole Santa has come thing with the children. Their faces when they see that he has been is priceless.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
When I was little, my sister woke me up early in the morning on Christmas day shouting that she could hear bells. We snuck down stairs while my parents slept and listened carefully for them. We were so convinced there were reindeers on our roof.

4. Favourite festive food?
All of it! I love mince pies with cream especially but you can't beat the turkey dinner with cranberry sauce and stuffing. *mouth waters*

5. Favourite Christmas gift ?
My first bike was definitely one of my favourite presents. When I came down stairs that morning I remember feeling really sad because there was no bike under the tree. The very last present i opened that day was fairly small so was trying to guess what was in it. I ripped it opened and found pedals! My dad then pulled out a beautiful bike from the cupboard, I was so excited.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
The smell of Cinnamon and apple candles burning, mince pies, and roast dinner cooking in the oven. Bliss.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
We all get into our christmas PJs in the evening and watch a film together. I also put together a little buffet dinner with pringles, nuts, breadsticks and dips, sandwiches, and of course the quality street tin.

8. What tops your tree?
When I was growing up we had a minnie mouse angel topping our tree which Im pretty sure my dad still uses at his house. I have an angel on the top of mine which I brought the year my eldest was born. Im hoping she will be passed on through the generations.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
A pony just like all little girls ask for. We had a tiny garden so it would have had no where to live. I did try suggesting it could live in my bedroom with me.

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

Spending time with my family, fighting because someone cheated at the chosen board game and listening to all the laughter in the house. It really is a magical time of year. Also you can't beat that moment when the dishes are done and you can have that christmas nap on the sofa.
