6/52 Life Lately

This week has whizzed by. It doesn't feel that long ago I was arranging photos for my 5/52 post. Update for this week: Alfie gained two merits at school for his beautiful handwriting and stories. He is so intelligent and continues to make me such a proud mummy every day. Thomas has started yoga at his school and is now teaching me the snake, the shark, and the praying mantis (I'm not sure if they are actual yoga poses?). He loves it so much and he is going to be super strong by the end of term. For doing so well at school this week, I treated the boys to a second showing of Wicked which is currently on tour in Plymouth. Ok, it was mainly for me but we had a great time and the cast was just out of this world. I will be very sad to see them leave Plymouth for Bristol on the 14th.

This weekend was very chilled, relaxing and free (no pennies were spent) which was so needed. On saturday we visited my sisters new amazing home and caught up over a lovely buffet lunch while the children played with their cousins. We are all so happy when we are together as life is too busy for us to see each other often.

The above photos were taken on Sunday when we finally felt a bit of sun and warmth on our skin. The morning was spent lazing around in our pyjamas catching up with some netflixs. We eventually managed to get dressed at 2pm to venture out for a scooter ride and a trip into the forest to collect up some sticks for a project we want to do this week. When home, Alfie picked me a daffodil which was to say thank you for being the best mummy *Sobs* but I did have to tell him the neighbours are going to be upset you picked it off their garden, whoops but I doubt they will notice. The boys also spent some time colouring in my path with chalk, both writing home sweet home and I love you house. Overall, a very successful and enjoyable week.
