Hello and welcome back to Through my child's eyes, the link up for mini photographers and artists. I am very sorry that I took such a long break from hosting this link up but I have decided to bring it back and give it another shot.
This week, I wanted to show you two photos Thomas took while out walking along the waterfront in Plymouth. It was a miserable day with wind, fog, and heavy rain. However, we made the most of it and quite enjoyed our walk after eating a massive lunch in the cafe. Thomas wanted to steal my camera when we got to these benches and asked Alfie to say 'cheese'. Alfie decided it would be funny to pull his creepy face to annoy Tom which worked, he stormed over to the pigeons and took their photo instead. Quite funny to watch really.

Sorry mine is a bit old and is on IG. My son took that photo and I am so proud of it. Lovely photos that your son took as well. I love the mood of the photo! Storm effect? =P
ReplyDeleteGreat post! My 7 year old has been asking for a camera - he's currently saving up for one but I have no idea what kind of camera to get him at the moment, I'd love to teach him how to use the manual settings when he gets to that point but as you say the balance between interest and turning them off has to be struck. Will have to do some research!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure whether N's initial interest will continue, but I was impressed with his first attempt. Just shows what a good camera will do when someone really has no idea about what they're doing! Hopefully he'll continue being interested, and we'll have some more photos to share.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting
