On Saturday we decided that the weather was finally nice enough to go for a paddle in the sea. It was our first trip wearing our new swimsuits and it was just bliss. There was two massive events on in the area, The royal Cornwall show and the Lord Mayors parade in Plymouth. Because of these the beach was completely empty except for one or two families. It was so peaceful and with the tide at its lowest, the children had so much space to run around.
I hate going to beaches as I hate sand but I love watching my girls play nicely and I love beach photos!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't really had the perfect weather for the beach just yet. Maybe we did one day but it was a school day! Typical!
Love the beach, love sand, wish our beach had some but never complain about living by the sea pebbles or not! #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteBeautiful empty beach, which one was it Gemma?
ReplyDeleteThis is Whitsand bay on the Rame coastline. It was beautiful today.
DeleteFantastic - it must have felt like a real luxury to virtually have the beach to yourself like that.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have all that space to yourselves. Love the photo, the bucket in the foreground makes for a really interesting shot x
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love just seeing the bucket there as a POI :)
ReplyDeleteWow! How lucky to get it to yourself. Can't beat a paddle!

ReplyDeleteA day at the beach, lovely :)
ReplyDeleteA lovely shot Gemma, the beach looks lovely. I live by the sea in Sussex, but we don't have sand and it is something that I miss. Hopefully one day we will make it to Cornwall as it is a part of England I haven't explored yet.
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective. I really need to go to the seaside!
ReplyDeleteI love going to the beach but really don't like when it's busy! We haven't had a chance to get to the beach yet as the weather hasn't been nice enough, hopefully it gets warmer soon.
