My Sunday photo for this week was taken at Whitsand bay in Cornwall on our first trip to the beach in 2015. As soon as we arrived the children ran straight to the sea, leaving me behind. They really wanted to go for a swim but it was far too cold today.
Linking up with my sunday photo:
I love Cornwall. What a stunning photo! A few months before it'll be warm enough though! x
ReplyDeleteThank you. I am hoping these months leading up to summer go quickly. I can't wait.
DeleteStunning. Stormy sky and stormy sea, so much atmosphere. Love it x
ReplyDeleteThere was a fair bit of wind and cloud. Luckily it didn't rain.
DeleteJust popping back from #iotw x
DeleteA very atmospheric photo. It's funny the way kids will always head straight for the water, no matter how cold it is - mine do exactly the same!
ReplyDeleteThey love it and never seem to be bothered by the cold. crazy kids.
DeleteLovely photo! My toddler was keen to get in the sea this week too!
ReplyDeleteThank you. They love water don't they. Nothing like a good splash.

DeleteBeautiful photo. I'd love to go to Cornwall one day.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Cornwall is stunning, especially near the fishing villages.
DeleteI'm loving all these exterior photos. It seems that as the weather improves everyone is making a greater effort to go outside with their kids. Looks like a lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteI love the beach in winter, there's something really special about it and I like that the beach is usually deserted when the dark clouds are out. Great photo xx
ReplyDeleteA beautiful empty beach, looks like it goes on for miles

ReplyDeleteI had my first visit to the beach today too Gemma,
ReplyDeleteMy dog went crazy running around like a pup but she's 11 years old. She probably won't be able to move tomorrow after all that exercise. But what can you do when you're so happy to be outside enjoying nature?
Love your photo :D
How I adore the beach and especially a wide open one like that, that stretches for miles. Mich x
ReplyDeleteThe sea always looks lovely and inviting but I bet it would've been flipping freezing!
