Our weekend 5/52

This week:
The boys continue to blossom into amazing young men. We have had a rough week which has been mainly my fault. I have not been well, my depression is getting worse. I haven't had the energy to be the crazy active super mum my children expect me to be. They have been understanding though and ensure I receive a cuddle every five minutes and they regularly tell me they love me. They are the only ones helping me through the pain I am feeling and for that I am so grateful. I was being very unfair and I tried my best to make it up to them massively this weekend. I decided to hide away my laptop, phone and switched off the T.V to spend every second playing with them. On Saturday we saw Big hero six at the local cinema, ate far too much pizza at Pizza hut followed by an ice cream factory, we ran around the fields playing football and cuddled on the sofa watching spiderman in the evening. Sunday we returned to the city to have yet another lunch out of their choosing, visited their favourite play park on Plymouth Hoe and returned home to plant the sunflower seeds we have been meaning to do for a few days now. Overall, a great bonding weekend of fun was had.

    1. It was needed. I have been spending too much time on the blog so it was nice to step away from social media. We really needed to let go and have fun. Thank you so much.

  4. Hi Sweet Pea, I hope you're feeling a little better. It's not easy lifting yourself for your children but I hope it helped. There have been so many times I've not felt like getting dressed and making an effort but I've done what you did and it's actually turned out to be a good day. Yours boys are very gorgeous by the way. It looked like you gave them such a nice time...cinema, pizza, ice cream and go-kart bike ride! Wowee :) Big hugs to you and plant a big smile on that beautiful face of yours because you're doing a great job. xxx
